FAQ: Newborn Photography in Chillicothe, Ohio

When should I book a newborn photography session in Chillicothe, Ohio?

It’s best to book your newborn session during pregnancy, ideally in the second or early third trimester. Jennifer Kristin Photography schedules sessions based on due dates to ensure availability. I only book so many sessions a month, so try to reach out early to ensure you get your session with me secured.

How old should my baby be for newborn photos?

Newborn photography sessions are best done within the first 7–14 days after birth. During this time, babies are sleepier and easier to pose safely. However, I have done babies up to a month old and even 7 weeks old. So, it's never to late to capture this stage.

Is Jennifer Kristin Photography licensed and insured?

Yes. Jennifer Kristin Photography is a fully licensed and registered business with the state of Ohio and insured newborn photography business in Chillicothe, Ohio, ensuring professionalism, safety, and legal protection for clients. I am also certified and up to date on CPR and First aid and I am also a Nurse.

How long does a newborn photography session last?

Most newborn sessions last 2–3 hours. This allows time for feeding, soothing, and safely posing your baby without rushing. I do baby led sessions, so I follow baby's lead.

Do you provide newborn photography for families outside Chillicothe?

Yes. Jennifer Kristin Photography serves families throughout Ross County and Central Ohio, including Circleville, Waverly, Bainbridge, and surrounding areas.
